UNICO Donations

Giuseppe Mario Bellanca, Frank Borzage, Enea Bossi, Anthony Celebrezze, Ella T. Grasso, and Nancy Pelosi all had something in common — they were first in their field of achievement. There are many more great Italian-Americans that made significant contributions that benefited our entire county. Castelluccio, Alagna, Spallo, and DiMiceli are just a few of UNICO's current scholarship awardees that are working hard to achieve excellence like their forefathers.

To help our young and talented high school graduates achieve their dreams we need your support — a donation for a college scholarship to a worthy Italian-American high school senior in your business name, your name or that of your family. Due to the outstanding success of the annual Festa Italiana at Zona Rosa and other fundraising events, UNICO will match a tax-deductible gift to defray the ever-increasing cost of obtaining a college education.

UNICO's Scholarship Committee selects candidates by early May in time to announce the awards at the June Festa Italiana.

Your gift supports a young person with Italian heritage with college expenses. Investing in our young people that have already showed excellence in their school work and community is a win-win for all involved. UNICO awarded $51,000 in scholarships last year to deserving seniors.
