UNICO Kansas City Chapter Scholarships

Each year the UNICO Kansas City Chapter sponsors a number of events to raise money to fund scholarships for local high school graduates. Events include the UNICO Microbrew Festival, Kansas City Ethnic Festival and Festa Italiana, the largest fundraiser of the year. Scholarship recipients are honored each year at this event.

Since 2010, UNICO has awarded over $50,000 a year in scholarships to local high school students during our Festa Italiana event. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and the display of UNICO values.

2015 Scholarship Applications are due March 2, 2015. Scholarship winners will be announced at Festa Italiana.

UNICO National Scholarships

In addition to the KC Chapter scholarships, there are a number of national scholarships that are available. UNICO National offers a variety of scholarships for high school seniors, undergraduates and post graduate studies, including specialized scholarships based on specific fields of study. There are also various eligibility requirements based on the scholarship applied for, so you would need to review each scholarship individually. The UNICO National Scholarship deadline for submissions is April 15, 2015. We highly encourage any applicants that submit for our KC Chapter Scholarships to also submit for National consideration as well.
